We are Tina and Kristen, a sister duo who travel to you. Because Hampton has its own boutique cottages and suites on site, most of our brides get ready right there on the estate the morning of the wedding, so there is no rushing up the range with wet hair or a half-finished face. We arrive set up and ready, work through your bridal party in the cottage, and have you camera-ready with time to spare before you walk down to the glasshouse or out onto The Green.
Mountain mornings up here run cooler and a little breezier than down on the coast, and the light shifts as the day goes on, so we build your hair and makeup to hold. Soft, skin-first and sun-kissed, finished to last from your first-look photos right through to the last dance.
What we know about getting ready here
Hampton's on-site cottages along Hampton Lane make a lovely getting-ready base, with thoughtful, Hamptons-styled interiors that photograph beautifully. We set up near the best natural light in your cottage or suite, lay out our kit and work cleanly around your party, the steamer and the bubbles.
The glasshouse floods with bright, even daylight and the vineyard lawn is open and sunny, so we keep skin luminous rather than heavy. We finish your makeup to read beautifully in that glassy outdoor light and still hold up under the softer, warmer glow inside for the reception.
Being up on the range, getting ready on site is the easy choice — no driving the mountain road on the morning. We build the run sheet around your ceremony time and photographer, so hair and makeup are done with breathing room before you head down to the glasshouse or The Green.

It depends on your ceremony time, party size and photographer, but for a typical afternoon ceremony in the glasshouse we usually arrive around 7:30am. Because you can get ready on site in the Hampton Lane cottages, we have plenty of time to work through your party and finish with the bride, with a buffer before you walk down. We map the exact start time with you when you book.
Do you travel to Hampton Estate Wines on Tamborine Mountain for wedding hair and makeup? +
Yes — we are a fully mobile sister duo and Tamborine Mountain is well within our Gold Coast hinterland service area, roughly 30 minutes up from the coast. We come to you with everything we need, so you and your bridal party can get ready right there on the estate.
How many people can you do wedding hair and makeup for at a hinterland wedding? +
Plenty. As two trained artists who both do hair and makeup, we can look after the bride plus a full bridal party comfortably within the morning.
