We're Tina and Kristen, a sister duo who bring the whole bridal hair and makeup studio to you. Both of us are fully trained in hair and makeup, so we can work side by side as a team of two to keep your morning calm and on schedule, or split across the day if you've got a larger party. Either way, you're getting your looks done right there in the bridal suite, with no driving down the mountain and back before photos.
Our style is soft, natural and sun-kissed — the kind of makeup that looks like you on your best day rather than a heavy mask. We build everything to hold up through a ceremony at the chapel or the lakeside arbour, golden-hour photos by the water and a long night in the Cedar Room, so you can relax and actually be present, knowing you'll look and feel like yourself from first look to last dance.
What we know about getting ready at Cedar Creek Estate
Cedar Creek has a dedicated bridal suite on-site, so you can get ready right where you'll marry rather than rushing up the mountain at the last minute. We arrive with a full mobile kit, chairs and lighting and set up a proper styling station, so all you and your party need to do is turn up in a button-up shirt with your coffee.
Up on the mountain the morning light is soft and even — beautiful for getting-ready photos — but it shifts fast once the sun climbs over the vines. We set up facing the best natural light in the suite and build your makeup to read perfectly both in that bright vineyard sun and in the warmer, softer tones inside the sandstone chapel and the Cedar Room.
The hinterland air can be cool and a little humid first thing, so we factor that into how we prep skin and set hair to make sure everything holds. For a typical mid-afternoon ceremony we usually start around 8am, which gives us time to work calmly through the bridal party and finish with you, the bride, freshest. Because the estate is up the range, we always factor in the drive and a comfortable buffer. Once we know your ceremony time and how many are having hair and makeup, we'll build you an exact run sheet.
Do you travel to Cedar Creek Estate on Mount Tamborine for wedding hair and makeup? +
Yes — we're a fully mobile sister duo and Cedar Creek Estate is right in our home patch. We come to you and get you ready in the on-site bridal suite, so there's no driving up and down the mountain on the morning. Travel to the hinterland is included.
