What time should hair and makeup start at Vibe Hotel Gold Coast? +
For a midday ceremony we'd usually arrive around 8am. As a rough guide we allow about 45 minutes per person for hair and 45 for makeup, and we always finish with the bride. The lovely thing about Vibe is your ceremony is in the building, often up on the rooftop over the river, so you skip the transfer most venues need, but we still build in a buffer for photos and a final touch-up before you head to the lift. Once we know your ceremony time and party size we'll send you a precise start time.
Do you travel to Vibe Hotel Gold Coast for wedding hair and makeup? +
Yes, we're a fully mobile sister duo and Surfers Paradise is right in the heart of our area. We come to your suite at Vibe with everything we need, so there's no need to leave the hotel. We also cover the wider Gold Coast and hinterland, the Tweed Coast and Byron Bay.
How big a bridal party can you do at Vibe Hotel Gold Coast? +
Anything from just you to a full bridal party. Because both of us are trained in hair and makeup, we can work side by side as a team of two for larger groups and still finish comfortably on time. For a smaller party one of us may set up solo. When you enquire, tell us how many people need hair, makeup or both and we'll confirm whether it's one or both of us and map out the morning.
Will my makeup last through a Gold Coast wedding day? +
Yes. We build for the climate here, using long-wear products and proper prep so your makeup holds through humidity, happy tears and dancing, from a daytime ceremony right through to the evening. Hair is set with internal support and pins rather than being drowned in product, so it stays put but still moves and feels like you. We'll also talk you through a few simple touch-up tips for the night.
