That is exactly where we come in. We are Tina and Kristen, a sister duo who both trained in hair and makeup, and we travel to you. Rather than booking a salon chair across town, we arrive at your accommodation near the beach and set up wherever the morning light is best, so your prep stays calm and close to where the day is actually happening.
Bilinga faces due east, which means a big, bright sunrise and clear morning light that photographs beautifully but also shows every detail. We build your look for that light and for the salt air, sea breeze and warmth that come with a beachfront day, so you look soft and natural up close and still polished in every photo on the sand.
What we know about getting ready at Bilinga Beach
The surf club is your ceremony and celebration home rather than a getting-ready suite, so most Bilinga brides prep at an apartment or holiday house in the beachfront strip along Golden Four Drive. That works perfectly for us. We are fully mobile and bring everything, so a kitchen bench, a dining table and good natural light are all we need. Choosing accommodation a short walk from the club also means a relaxed, unhurried morning with no driving.
Bilinga faces straight out to the east over the Pacific, so the morning fills with strong, clear coastal light. It is gorgeous, but bright sunrise light is honest light, so we set up near a window facing the morning sun and build your makeup to read beautifully both in that glow and later on the open sand.

It depends on your ceremony time and party size, but for the late-afternoon beach ceremonies that suit Bilinga, we usually arrive mid-morning, around 9:30 to 10am. We always work backwards from your ceremony and add a buffer so you are ready early and relaxed, not rushed.
Do you travel to Bilinga Beach and the southern Gold Coast for wedding hair and makeup? +
Yes. We are a fully mobile sister duo and travel is included. We come to your accommodation near Bilinga, Tugun, Kirra or Coolangatta and set up wherever the light is best, so there is no salon trip on the morning of your wedding.
Can you do my whole bridal party at Bilinga Beach? +
Absolutely. We look after anything from a bride on her own to a full bridal party plus mums. For larger groups both of us come so everyone is finished comfortably before your ceremony, with no last-minute scramble.
