Coorabell Estate sits tucked down a quiet country lane in the Byron hinterland, thirty acres of rolling green lawn and rainforest with the most beautiful open sky above it. It is one of our favourite corners of the shire to work in, the kind of place where the morning starts slow and the light pours in soft and golden. We come to you here, setting up wherever you are getting ready so your day can unfold gently, without the rush of driving anywhere.
We are Tina and Kristen, sisters who both trained in hair and makeup, and we travel to the couple rather than asking you to come to us. At Coorabell that usually means the homestead, with its open-plan living and big windows looking out over the lawns, so there is space for you, your people, and a slow cup of coffee while we work. Our looks are natural, soft and a little sun-kissed, made for the warm Byron light and built to hold through a long hinterland day.
Because the estate is set away from town on its own private grounds, your morning is calm and unhurried. We arrive with everything we need, settle in, and let the getting-ready hours feel like part of the celebration rather than a thing to tick off before it.

Do you travel out to Coorabell Estate? +
Yes, always. We are a fully mobile service and we come to you. Coorabell is one of our favourite hinterland venues, roughly 25 minutes from Byron township, and we bring everything we need to set up right where you are getting ready.
Where at the estate do you set up? +
Usually the homestead, in the open-plan living area near the big windows where the morning light is soft and even. There is plenty of room for the whole bridal party, so we can work comfortably while everyone relaxes together.
Will my makeup last through a long hinterland day? +
That is exactly what we build it for. Our looks are natural and soft but properly long-wearing, made for the warm Byron climate so they hold up through an outdoor ceremony, photos on the lawns and dancing into the evening.
Do you do both hair and makeup? +
We do. Tina and Kristen are sisters who both trained in hair and makeup, so between the two of us we can look after your whole bridal party without bringing in extra artists. It keeps the morning calm and the look consistent.
How far ahead should I book? +
As early as you can, especially for peak Byron wedding season. Coorabell hosts a limited number of weddings each year and our calendar fills well in advance, so once you have your date locked in, reach out and we will hold it for you.
